    This 12 disc set comes in a custom box set with artwork by noted cartoonist Paul Pope. Recordings hereon come from a series of shows in the first part of July in Kansas City, St. Paul, Omaha, and most notably, the band's first visit to the famed Red Rocks Amphitheater.     May 13,  · July 8, is obviously a factor, but the rest looks great. I am in. A mash-up tape of 7/8/78 was a mainstay in my collection, but it wasn't complete-- only set one and encores. Longtime favorite tape, so excited about getting an official release! On July 8, I was celebrating my 8th birthday with a big birthday party.

    I've read that towards the end of his time with The Dead that Keith began going totally downhill. If that's true I haven't heard that show yet, because Keith & Jerry still sound good together here. The 1st set is all good songs and each one extremely well-played. This 2nd set has to be one .
